Support Literacy in Chicago!

For the second smash year in a row, the Literacenter will be transformed into an interactive showcase featuring live music, drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and the opportunity for each guest to select and take home a special book or piece of book-related art.

Proceeds from the event will support the CLA’s mission and programs.

Cocktail attire encouraged.

The success of One for the Books relies on the generosity of businesses, corporations, and individuals who sponsor this important fundraising event. Their support demonstrates the tremendous value each places on literacy.

What past attendees are saying …

“Such a fun evening! I found myself running to donate – hoping to be the first to get to my hands on a book I had found and loved. This event brought a new level of excitement to raising money for literacy!” – Kelly M.

“From the books, to the contests, to the silent auction, everything was well thought out and ultimately focused on making Chicago a more educated and literate community. I look forward to attending the next one!” – Joy F.
